My roommate Tharini and I went to the fair yesterday, but not before I went on a two hour bike ride and worked on my sweet spando tan lines. So, all about the fair now. It's called the Perth Royal Show and happens once a year just like any other fair. It's pretty much the same, with rides and animals and food galore. We got there and walked all around first just to see everything there was to see. Then I took some photos for my photography class. I hope they turn out good because I got some exciting movement pictures with the rides for my next assignment. It felt awesome knowing that my homework was taking pictures. I love it. We decided to have a look at all the animals first, and from our animal adventures I've found a new love for GOATS. That's right, for some reason I freaking love goats now. I took way too many pictures yesterday, and way too many pictures of goats. So after we looked at all the animals, I took Tharini on a ride that she absolutely hated. It swung like a pendulum back and forth and at the same time spun in circles. I sat next to her screaming the entire time and got flipped the bird by her when the ride was over. After that, we got some good ol' fried, greasy fair food. By this time, it was starting to get dark out so I finished up my role of film for movement. Our next task was finding Tharini a stuffed animal, that's all she wanted from her trip to the fair. We succeeded in finding her a bright yellow elephant, which I proceeded to name Ganesh. The best part was that it was dark in time for us to finally take a trip up in the ferris wheel. We happened to plan this perfectly, because while stopped at the top, the fireworks show started! It was quite a view. Perfect way to end the night, except for not being able to properly find our way into the train station for the ride home. But we got home and all in all we had such a great day!
